The eagerly awaited Launch and Draw of the Bank of Ireland Ulster U21 Club Football Tournament took place on 29 December 2016. The Launch was attended by Ulster GAA President, Michael Hasson; Antrim Chairman, Collie Donnelly; Derry Chairman, Brian Smith; South West Antrim Chairman, Columb Walsh; Antrim Delegates to Ulster Council, Alex McQuillan and Jim McLean.
Tournament Sponsors Bank of Ireland
were represented by Angela Callan, an avid fan of the competition. Participating clubs were represented by current holders Watty Grahams, Mayobridge, Crossmaglen, Donaghmoyne, Aghagallon and Tyrone side Stewartstown.

The draw for the semi-finals will take place after the last quarter-final, with both games to take place on Sunday 29 January 2017, with the Final scheduled for Sunday 12 February 2017.
